MAP22: Tuama is the twenty-second map of 1000 Lines 2 - Community Project. It was designed by Shannon O'Neill (Major Arlene) and uses the music track "Sombre Visions," originally created by Tristan Clark for the Rebirth MIDI Pack.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Take the berserk pack and boxes of shotgun shells in the starting room then head up the steps to find a super shotgun and an armor in a pool of damaging slime. Head up either of the west staircases and kill all the waiting imps and demons, as well as an arch-vile visible through the windows in this room, then go to the waterfall on the west side to find a supercharge and a trident button that will open the door to the arch-vile's chamber and allow you to get the red skull key. Watch out for revenants that teleport to the central chamber after you press the button, and (on Hurt Me Plenty (HMP) skill level or higher) be ready to fight two more arch-viles that teleport in when you approach the key.

Return to the central chamber and go up either of the east staircases, where two doors have opened to reveal a new room with demons, cacodemons and revenants, as well as two mancubi and two caged arch-viles on HMP or higher. Collect the supercharge and megaarmor by the east wall then head up the nearby staircases, passing some more revenants, to a tunnel with another trident switch. This switch will open three monster closets in the previous room containing imps and pain elementals, as well as allowing mancubi and Hell knights to teleport in (plus two barons of Hell on HMP and two arch-viles on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare), but it will also open a door in the west wall leading to the yellow skull key. With the yellow key, drop into the central chamber and press both pentagram switches on the north wall to open the bars between them, then step through and press the demon wall in front of you to lower it. Once the wall drops, press the eye switch on the block in front of you to finish the level.
