MAP23: Biomatrix is the twenty-third map of Doom 404. It was designed by Adam Windsor (Capellan) and uses an untitled music track by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL).

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.


Other points of interest[edit]


  1. Head south of the start and find the block at the south end. Use its west side and go northwest to the lowered platform with the plasma gun and energy cell. (sector 10)
  2. Enter the north end of the map and use the southeast part of the gray wall, then run to the northeast platform. When it rises, head south across the terminal to the super shotgun, energy cell, and shotgun shells. (sector 57)
  3. At the southwest side, find a silver ridge at the south end to lower the central terminal. Ride it up and jump northwest to the super shotgun, energy cell, and shotgun shells. (sector 72)
