MAP23: Hard Descent, Harder Climbings is the twenty-third map of Cyberdreams. It was designed by Gonzalo Pérez de la Ossa.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

At the start grab the megasphere, but be careful with the caged cyberdemon behind it. Then, head north into the corridor and flip the switch, the run back out and onto the main platform as it rises. Circle around as it rises to avoid cyberdemon rockets, but be careful not to fall into the nukage below as you cannot escape if that happens. Once it rises to the next level, head through the south corridor and repeat the process with the switch, then get back on the lift as it rises again. Repeat this process at the west corridor, then the east corridor, and you will be able to access the southwest area. Use the switch to raise the steps, but be mindful of the cyberdemons at the northeast end. Enter the gate to telefrag one of the cyberdemons (this one will not appear on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), then go back to the gate and head around to the backside to telefrag the other one.

As you leave back on the main platform, it will descend again. You will have to dodge all the cyberdemons from before as it descends all the way. At the bottom, head southeast and use the switch. Wait while the cyberdemons get crushed, then exit the level when the platform has risen all the way.
