MAP23: Idumea is the twenty-third map of Doom 2 In City Only. It was designed by taviow and uses the music track "Guardhouse" by James Paddock (Jimmy). Due to the open views with a lot of detail, the map can have performance issues. It was also released standalone in November 2024, including a version for low-end computers.

Secrets[edit]
- Head to the docks at the south end, then look south and go to the evil eye. Follow the evil eyes through a cave system, going across thin walkways, along an invisible walkway with candles and sniping cyberdemons, through another cave with evil eyes, and you can jump onto the secret boat arena. You will need all six keys to battle here, but you can leave via a teleporter at the southwest end of the boat if you do not have them all yet. After getting through the secret boat arena, you can access the secret exit. (sector 2962)
- Veer to the left of the normal exit to get a berserk pack. (sector 4582)
