MAP24: Control Center is the twenty-fourth map of Daedalus: Alien Defense. It was designed by Donald R. Howard and uses the music track MM_02.MID by Rich Nagel.

Walkthrough

Map of Control Center

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. In the lava cavern at the center of the map, go towards the green teleporter in the middle and look for a red button to the southwest above you. Shoot it, and it will open a wall south of the teleporter with boxes of rockets, one or two energy cell packs depending on your skill level, and a megasphere. (sector 586)
2. In the same lava cavern area, go to the southeast end, under the rocks. You will find a backpack, boxes of rockets, energy cell packs, a plasma gun, and a green armor (not on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower). (sector 593)
3. In the room with the teleport access token, open the wall to the east to find ammo, a soul sphere, a backpack, a rocket launcher, and a computer area map. (sector 716)
