Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

After clearing out the fight with multiple barons of Hell at the end of the level, exit the room you fought them in to find a switch and a hovering Artifact of Mind behind it. Pressing the switch will cause the artifact to disappear. You will now need to perform a puzzle involving fast appearing and disappearing switches. To trigger it, you will need to go back into the room where the barons used to be, and look at the switch in the north of this room. You will see that there are two tan metal columns to the left and right. The one to the right at this point actually becomes an invisible wall you can shoot through to trigger the sequence, which will involve switches both inside this room and outside where the Artifact first appeared. Once you complete it, the Artifact will reveal itself in its original position and can be finally grabbed.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the starting room, there are several orange demonic faces on the walls, but one of them is yellow. Press it to reveal a chainsaw. (thing 184)
  2. After making it up the first lift, press the demonic door in front of you to reveal a berserk pack. (sector 320)
  3. In the northernmost room, press the demonic wall to the west to reveal a super shotgun. (thing 232)
  4. After getting into the water-flooded areas in the east, walking to the right of the building that housed the teleporter will cause a backpack to appear. (thing 864)
