MAP24: Scorching Back is the twenty-fourth map of Estranged. It was designed by Matthew Edwards (Foodles) and uses the music track "Winnow" by Kevin Schilder, from Hexen.

Secrets[edit]
- Enter the teleporter at secret #3 and run west, then jump to the wooden platform that has a soul sphere. (sector 2)
- After lowering the yellow bars, go to the west side of the temple entrance and through the red wall at the west end. Follow the health bonuses to a radiation suit. (sector 379)
- At the eastern lava pit, go to the column at the northeast side and open the wall at the southwest end of the column to find a teleporter. (sector 389)
- At the eastern lava pit, go to the column at the southeast side and open the wall at the southeast end of the column to get ammo and a backpack. (sector 394)
