MAP25: Impish Delight is the twenty-fifth map of Plutonia 1024: The Plutinya Experiment. It was designed by Arthur O. (Archi) and uses the music track "Outer Darkness" by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL) from Plutonia: Revisited Community Project. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 2:30.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

Walk straight forward and go through the opening on your right to see a brown door, which you can open to find a shotgun which is surrounded by a ledge with imps on it. Flip the switch in the south-west corner to lower the neighboring wall and get outside to find a plasma gun in a water pool, then kill the imps, arch-vile and demons/Hell knights on guard before opening the west door to enter a room with a blood pool. Head round the pool to kill two knights who are guarding a supercharge as well as an arch-vile that teleports in, then flip the nearby switch to lower two walls behind you and reveal three imps and a revenant (or three revenants and an arch-vile on Hurt Me Plenty skill level or higher). Open the north door to confront two cacodemons then step through it to lower the wall ahead and reveal another arch-vile and more imps - lowering this wall will make it easier to reach the exit teleporter (located to the east) after opening it.

Go back to the previous room and lower the lift in the south-east corner, ride it up then run east to land on a ledge that had imps on it. Walk east to some energy cells then look north to see a button embedded inside a dividing wall; after shooting this switch, proceed north over a narrow ledge that rises to reach the ledge in the north-east corner of the map and kill the arch-vile that has teleported here before following the ledge round to a silver door. Go through this door and look south to see a satyr switch in the wall, shoot it then run south to the now-open exit teleporter.

Secrets[edit]

  1. After flipping the switch in the south-west room, head back to the start and enter the closet with imps on the west side. Lower the south wall to get a berserk pack. (sector 0)
  2. In the south-west room, lower the north-east corner wall to get an energy cell pack. (sector 95)
