MAP26: Poison Ivy III is the twenty-sixth level of Plutonia: Revisited Community Project. It was designed by Josh Sealy (Joshy) and Przemysław Woda (Belial), and uses the music track, "Ivy" by Stuart Rynn (stewboy). The par time defined in MAPINFO is 5:00.

Essentials[edit]
Note that none of the nukage or sludge in this level is damaging.
Step through the vines in front of you to face a revenant (or arch-vile on Ultra-Violence and Nightmare skill levels) then go outside to a lawn with some mancubi. Go through the vine-covered doorway at the south end of the lawn to enter a cavern with a spiderdemon, flip the switch at the east end of the cavern, then go back to the start and climb up the south-western steps. At the top go south-east into a room with some large ammo boxes and kill the arch-vile waiting to your right along with some revenants and chaingunners, then take the supercharge on the east balcony and flip the switch behind it; this will open the path to the blue key. For now, go into the tunnel in the south-west corner of the room and drop down the hole at the end to land in a room with metal pillars.
Blow up the barrel in front of you to kill some waiting spectres, go forward into the room and kill some more spectres that appear, then press the button at the west end of the room to lower the walls on either side with revenants and caged chaingunners who are guarding the red skull key. With the red key, press the gargoyle switch on the east side of the room to open it and reveal two arch-viles (one will teleport behind you), then enter the teleporter behind them to go back to the start. Kill the Hell knights that teleport in then go up the south-western steps again and go north into a room with arachnotrons, mancubi and chaingunners. Press the gargoyle switch in the mancubi chamber to open the two western doors, revealing a group of demons, cacodemons and pain elementals, then flip the switch inside that room to open a set of bars to the east.
Go north and east through the bars you just opened then continue east past a couple of knights to enter a sludge pool, which is guarded by imps and one or more revenants. Go to the stone block at the east end of the pool and kill the chaingunners that rise from it, then go down the stairs behind the block to enter a round room with a megasphere. Go through the tunnel on the east side of the room to find a knight and arch-vile guarding a gargoyle switch, press it then go back to the round room where a large number of enemies are teleporting in. Run to the switch that has opened on the north side of the room and flip it to open the south door, revealing a cyberdemon who can fight the enemies for you, then open the door behind the cyberdemon to find a tunnel leading to a ledge next to the stone block area.
Follow the ledge to another switch and flip it to raise a platform in the sludge pool, then go back to the pool and go down the blue steps at the west end to find stairs leading up to a green ledge. Open the north door and kill a couple of waiting chaingunners and revenants, then approach the switch at the end of the path and kill an arch-vile that ambushes you before pressing the switch to raise some corner steps in the previous room. Go back to that room and climb up the corner steps at the north-east end to reach the ledge above, then run south to the nearby doorway and cross the platform you raised earlier to reach the blue skull key on the other side. Deal with the shotgun guys in the nukage pool below then drop into the pool and go through the door at the south end, followed by the blue door to your left. Kill all the enemies waiting in the area behind the blue door then run up the vine-covered blocks to a small room with chaingunners, then go south into a passage and deal with the arch-vile that is released ahead. Step on the box of shotgun shells in this passage to go down to the yellow skull key.
Go back to the start and climb up the south-west steps again, then continue south-west through some vines to a red door to enter a room with a cyberdemon; there is a BFG9000 at the west end of the room that can help you, but it is watched by an arch-vile. Open the two gargoyle switches at the east end of the room to reveal two further switches, which will open the exit teleporter at the west end of the room.

This level was inspired by "all the poison themed maps in Plutonia and Tombstone." It was constructed in "hours" using Doom Builder 2.
