MAP26: The Dark Sanctuary is the twenty-sixth map of 2048 Units of /vr/. It was designed by Vaeros and uses the music track "Ded" by Kevin Schilder, from Heretic.

Secrets[edit]
- In the hall above the starting point, use the pillar with the beating heart to open a wall behind you with a soul sphere. (sector 50)
- At the northeast end, when a compartment to the east opens, enter it and use the south wall to find a switch. Press it and fall into the nukage. Go to the north side and get the FUG2048 to the west. (sector 97)
- In the blue key room, use a bookshelf at the south end with blood in front of it and teleport to a megasphere. (sector 172)
- In the central room, shoot the face to the east to open the south wall. You will find medikits, boxes of shotgun shells, energy cell packs, and a plasma gun. (sector 195)
- At the west side, go behind a pillar at the west side and use the broken red banner. This lowers a pillar to the southeast. Ride that pillar up and jump south to get a megaarmor. (sector 304)
- At the west side, climb the rocks and make a running jump southeast, above the lava. You will teleport to a backpack. (sector 319)
