MAP27: Anomaly 210 is the second secret map of Ashes: Afterglow. It was designed by ReformedJoe and uses the music track "Red Nightmare".

Secrets

1. At the north hall of the submarine, find a fence to the north and head west to get a first-aid kit. (sector 1150)
2. Open the red doors at the east side of the submarine and enter the vent to get an ammo bag. (sector 1181)
3. At the northeast part of the submarine, head to the red door and then west through the vent to reach a secret area with some junk. (sector 1518)

Inspiration and development

The structure and shape of the sub are based on the Akula-class submarines. TK-210, written on the side of the hull, was a real hull number of this class that was planned for construction but never completed. Had it been completed, it would have been the seventh submarine of this class to reach completion. A fictional seventh Akula was the titular sub of the book (and later movie) The Hunt for Red October ("Красный Октябрь"). There are several references in the code to characters and events in the movie.

The hull also has the word "Филадельфия" in Cyrillic, which translates to English as "Philadelphia". This is a reference to the urban legend and later movie The Philadelphia Experiment, which also features alleged paranormal events surrounding an ocean vessel.
