MAP27: Bitter Waters is the twenty-seventh map of Akeldama. It was designed by Michael Jan Krizik (valkiriforce) and uses the music track " ".

Secrets[edit]

  1. At the north end of the map, climb the west steps and head south a bit, then jump to the platform to the west with the chaingunner. Open the door to get a berserk pack. (sector 29)
  2. Take the teleporter south of where the red key is, then open the wall behind the teleporter. Take the lift in this area to reach a soul sphere. (sector 114)
  3. When you reach the end of the marble area at the south end of the map, enter the small hall with lion switches and use the switch on the south wall. This will reveal a teleporter which takes you to a staircase where you can fight former humans and a cacodemon as you get up to a soul sphere. (sector 516)
  4. At the northwest courtyard, go to the southwest edge of the floor switch and use the blue section to reveal a teleporter to the east, which takes you to a megasphere. (sector 632)
