Secrets[edit]

Official[edit]

  1. In the starting courtyard, go to the southwest corner and use the switch to lower the wall behind the starting point. Back here is a megaarmor. (sector 466)
  2. At the southeast end of the building with the circular staircase, use the northeast banner to find a drill machine. (sector 1828)

Non-official[edit]

In the main hall with the leichenfaust that leads to the exit, there is a room in the northeast that leads to a secret area of the level. Passage is blocked by five red and five blue narrow columns, which are lowered two at a time by pressing five secret buttons scattered around the level.

  1. In the room with the to-be-lowered columns, look immediately west to see the first button. Two candles on the floor mark its location.
  2. In the circular staircase hall of secret #2, there is a button tucked in the north side of one of the columns supporting the stairs - the spot is marked with a candle on the floor.
  3. In the southwest of the map, you can find an assault rifle that is on a lowerable platform. Go east from there until you find a room with a caged antaresia. From here, take the north path with the stairs and reach another room with a caged antaresia. Northeast of here there you can shoot a mancubus in the distance; look south to see another button, marked with two candles on the floor.
  4. In the last part of infernal section in the north-east, just before resurfacing, you will find yourself in a room where you can see through a hole in the wall into a previous section of the level, in the southeast. Look north in this room to see one button - it is marked with two candles on the lava floor.
  5. Just before the exit, you will find a staircase with four blue torches on either side. Look at the torches in the west and you will see one of them is actually red. Behind it is a shootable target that lowers the last columns and finally grants access to the area.

Go through the now open passage and you will find an area almost identical to MAP33: At the Entrance (2006), with all the monsters already cleared out. Press the fake exit button to find a secret room with two mega armors, four soul spheres, and a "thank you for playing" message. A teleporter will bring you back to the start.
