MAP29: Degrassi is the twenty-ninth map of Slaughterfest 2012. It was designed by TimeOfDeath and uses the music track "Laughing Ass Just Killed Somebody's Giant Armenian Summer Seven a.k.a. lajksgas7" by Wolf Kraft.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the red cavern at the northeast end of the map, go down the red steps going counter-clockwise until you reach the bottom, which will open ten compartments containing cacodemons. These ten compartments are the secrets. After you do this, open up the columns in the middle and press the switch on the southwest wall. This will lower the steps, but also the wall to the west allowing you to leave. Return to this area from the top, which is the section at the southwest part of this area which had the lavafall and revenants. There will be a switch at the southeast wall which will raise the steps again. Now, in order to get each of these ten secrets, time a jump between the top of the ledge and each compartment so that you register each secret. These ten secrets all contain energy cells.   11. At the west side of the map is a dockside where you can see a boat with a wire connecting to a pole with a candle. The pole counts as a secret, and depending on your skill level you can either use the arch-vile in the boat to jump you there (on Ultra-Violence or higher) or you will have to straferun southwest from the bridge to the northeast of the pole.   12. Straferun southeast of the "ANIGAV" bridge to get a megasphere. (sector 2048)
  13. After you open the red door west of where the red key was located, get to the middle fortress with the revenants on parapets. In the interior section, use the higher ground to go southeast onto the parapet, then straferun south to another one, which is next to four metal blocks. Carefully traverse each platform going east. In this area, get to the bottom and open the door. This area will have two energy cell packs (only on Ultra-Violence or higher) and a switch. (sector 2058)
  14. The switch in Secret #13 will lower the water a bit in the pool north of the red key area. Go back there and head east, traversing the path and battling cyberdemons as you go to a megasphere. (sector 2057)
  15. In the easternmost area with the water, hug the outer ledge until you get to a switch, then backtrack to the west side to be able to use the steps going north. At the end of the steps, use the higher ground to get on the railings of the steps to the west and east, then go down them to get a total of twelve secret sectors. (sector 1833)

  27. Take the aforementioned stairs back up and go clockwise on the higher ledge until you reach the start of this area. If you drop off to the north, you can find a megasphere on a platform with revenants, however the eleven sectors surrounding it are the secrets and each contain a red key. You will have to gently drop onto one, then jump to each of the others to get all eleven secrets. (sector 1818)

  38. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the west side, then jump east to the platform containing a red key. (sector 1271)
  39. From Secret #38, jump northeast to the next red key platform. (sector 1275)
  40. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the west side. Climb to the northeast and drop onto a red key platform. (sector 1274)
  41. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the east side, then jump west to the platform containing a red key. (sector 1276)
  42. From Secret #41, jump northwest to the next red key platform. (sector 1273)
  43. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the east side. Climb to the northwest and drop onto a red key platform. (sector 1272)
  44. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the west side. Run west as fast as you can over the railing so that you land on the highest pillar of the fountain, which has a red key. (sector 1245)
  45. In the southernmost hall, climb the steps and head to the west side. Run west as fast as you can over the railing so that you land on one of the pillars of the fountain (preferably where Secret #44 is, but under it is fine). You can use the central part of the fountain to access these four secret sectors which are the side pillars of the fountain, each containing a red key. (sector 1238)
