Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Essentials[edit]

You start in a flesh tunnel that will carry you to a teleporter, depositing you in a room with a shotgun and chaingun. Kill the mutant in front of you along with a few more waiting outside the room, then head west to the neighboring room to find one or more demons guarding a green door that leads outside; the entire outside area is overlooked by zombies and imps, so watch out for distant hitscan attacks. Follow the tiled path north and east to a door guarded by two mutants, open it and kill all the waiting zombies then press the computer terminal in the north-east corner which is indicated by a small floor arrow. The terminal will open four bedrooms to the north, which contain more mutants; go into the north-west bedroom to find the blue keycard sitting on the bed.

Go back to the starting area, to the room where you encountered the demons, and open the blue key door here to enter a small office with more mutants (and Hell knights on Ultra-Violence (UV) and Nightmare (NM) skill levels). Go into the middle cubicle on the north side and press the green filing cabinet, which is indicated by a gray floor arrow, to open the bars on the west side and release a baron of Hell, then go inside the compartment and press the button here. Leave the office and drop into the water on your left to see that some blue bars have opened, then go through those bars and head north to a pool with two tech blocks; from here you can head west through another doorway to a button guarded by a mutant, which will raise a bridge outside. Press the bridge to lower it like a lift so you can reach the floor above, then follow the stone floor west and north to a door. Go through and turn left to kill some waiting mutants, flip the switch here to lower some bars in the pool below, then retrace your steps until you are back across the bridge. Head north to a lawn and look east to see a wooden step next to a blood pool, then press the skull switch by this step to open the two cages to the west that contain mutants. Enter the north cage and flip the switch here to open the bars, then drop into the pool and activate the lift on the west side to go up to the yellow keycard.

Go back down to the water pool and take the supercharge in the east wall, then use the teleporter on the north side to go back up to ground level. Return to the starting point and go up the stairs, then open the east door (requiring the yellow key) and go up the steps to some mutants. Open the door here to enter a corridor with a red rock floor, which is damaging, and head east (past knights on Hurt Me Plenty and mutants on UV and NM) to a small balcony; the back wall will lower to reveal the red keycard, but taking it will release five barons into the corridor. Go back to the starting point and open the north door to enter a room with two arch-viles and a number of lost souls, then flip the skull lever in the north-west corner to lower the yellow flesh column and reveal a teleporter. The teleporter will send you to another flesh tunnel that leads to the level exit.

Other points of interest[edit]

From the start, head east until you drop into a hole. The red floor in this hole is highly damaging, but you can find a rocket launcher next to the escape teleporter.

After getting the blue key, return to the starting point and climb the steps then turn left to see a locked door you can open - behind this door is a partial invisibility and a button that will open the bedrooms in the neighboring hallway. Open the wall locker in the north-east bedroom to find a computer area map.

A berserk pack and megaarmor can be found in the final room.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Out of the starting room, head east and open the half-open door. Inside you can find a megaarmor. (sector 204)
  2. Head to the outside area and immediately turn right. Press on the wall next to the burning barrel to lower it, then ride it up and head north into the room with the rocket launcher. (sector 820)
  3. On the bridge past the blue bars, you may notice a BFG9000 on a pillar to the south. To reach it, head north and press on the green terminal in the center of the next room. This will lower the BFG, but only for a few seconds, so you must be quick on reaching it. Run south, then east and down into the water when you can, then west and onto the BFG pillar. (sector 725)
  4. Open the yellow door at the north of the map, then take the steps up and head to the left. Jump out the window and onto the wooden crate, then drop into the back alley to collect a megasphere. (sector 837)
