MAP30: The Inner Sanctum is the twenty-eighth and final map of Temporal Tantrum. It was designed by Washing Machine Enthusiasts and uses the music tracks "Selenitic Age" from Myst, "Europa Mining Colony" from Descent, "What Is Love (Baby Don't Hurt Me)" by Haddaway, "Technoparchment" by Varis Alpha from TNT: Evilution MIDI Pack, "Space Journey 1" from Tyrian, "Medivo" from Jazz Jackrabbit, "Voices of the Temple" from Donkey Kong Country, and Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky, using MUSINFO to change the music track. The par time defined in UMAPINFO is 8:15.
The map consists of a series of discrete areas, each one based on a different episode (except for one area that combines Episodes 1 and 5). Using UMAPINFO, each area can only be completed by killing all of a specific monster type in the following order: barons of Hell, arachnotrons, mancubi, flying spiderdemons, and cyberdemons. In the final area, the player must kill all diabolists to then be able to kill the Icon of Sin.
