MAP30: Ultimate Bastion is the thirtieth map of The Alfonzone. It was designed by Pinchy and uses the music track "Glock On and Win," composed by Gus Knezevich (Alfonzo).

Walkthrough

Map of Ultimate Bastion

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. In the southwest room with the wooden barrels, head to the middle, and north of two big red walls. Head to the west wall and press on the recessed brick, which lowers the barrel rack to the east. This passage has a box of rockets. (sector 452)
2. Head southwest of the hub and enter the cave system there. Climb around the south rock and get on it, then get to the southeast end to find a skull switch. After using it, continue west until you see a rock jutting out. Jump on it, then jump north to the health bonus. Follow this higher ground back to the hub area to find a soul sphere. (sector 860)
3. At the east side of the map with the skull switches that briefly raise walkways, raise one of the walkways, get on, then head towards the center where the plasma gun, energy cell packs, and backpacks are. Instead of going to the center, hop to one of the outer walls and you will teleport to the east side of the gate. Head east to get a megasphere. (sector 229)
4. Head to the southeast part of the hub, then use a switch for a lift up to the caves. Head south to the southeast corner and jump to the torch. This opens the inner corner where you can get a green armor. (sector 1284)
5. Head north from where Secret #4 is and at the northeast corner, crouch and head west to find a hidden cave leading to a soul sphere. (sector 1713)
6. Drop from the soul sphere at Secret #5 to get an energy cell pack. (thing 2880)
7. Lower the north bridge in the hub with the red and yellow keys and get on. Jump off to the right to get an invulnerability. (thing 2879)
