Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
All the monsters in this level start facing away from you, so do not make any noise until you are ready to fight. Go west through a fence into a courtyard with a BFG9000, backpacks and energy cell packs, then drop into the room north of the starting point to get a megasphere. The corridor ahead is filled with arch-viles, revenants, Hell knights and cyberdemons that you must fight through to reach the south-eastern area. In the south-eastern area, fight through the mancubi, arachnotrons and other monsters to reach the exit door then press it to reveal a cyberdemon guarding a Romero's head. Killing the head will end the level normally and send you to MAP16: Contain Yourself! but pressing the vine-covered walls on either side of it will send you to MAP32: Nüsse instead.
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- In the northernmost room, use the switch on the south-east triangle to reveal the north-east corner, containing a cyberdemon (two on Ultra-Violence or higher) and revenants. (sector 8)
- In the central room, use the west lift with arch-viles on it, then open the wall there to find more arch-viles and a switch that opens secret #4. (sector 24)
- From the lift where secret #2 is, jump east to the next triangle, then head back north-west through the hall, then east to find a cyberdemon and arch-viles. (sector 28)
- After using the switch in secret #2, jump to the triangle to the east of the lift, then the next one which has a megasphere. Head south into the courtyard with energy cell packs, cyberdemons, revenants, cacodemons, and mancubi. (sector 2)
- At the east end of the central room, you can lower a wall containing a cyberdemon and three arch-viles. (sector 17)

Inspiration and development[edit]
As its name suggests, this level's layout is inspired by MAP01: Entryway from Doom II.
