MAP31: Dark Matter is the sixteenth and final map of Adonis: Escape from Urania. It was designed by riderr3 and uses a MIDI rendition of "Those Who Fight Further" by The Black Mages, originally from Final Fantasy VII, as its music track.

Walkthrough

Map of Dark Matter

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. In the east building, climb the northeast steps to a mouth switch. Use it and quickly run back, then run to the east door which is now open. This balcony contains a light amplification visor, an energy cell, a box of rockets, a radiation suit, and a megasphere. (sector 438)
2. In the northwest building, go to the east library and go behind the green shelf to find a switch. Use it to lower the shelf to the right. Ride up and go onto the green shelf to get an energy cell pack. (sector 547)
3. At the northeast end, take either teleporter to go on the outer walls, then head for the northeast part of the walls to get a BFG9000. (sector 650)
4. In the north building, go up the southwest steps until you see an opening to the south. Drop to the west and at the bottom of the ledges, go through the north wall. You will teleport to a medikit, backpacks, and a radiation suit. (sector 668)
5. In the north building, use the switch to the west to lower a lift. Ride up, then drop to the south and onto a ledge with a radiation suit, a medikit, and a megaarmor. (sector 682)
6. On the black blocks at the southwest end, find a smaller pillar in the middle and jump to it to get a soul sphere. (sector 826)
7. At the northeast end, take the south teleporter and follow this outer wall to the fifth column. Use the north end of the column to find a teleporter leading to a radiation suit, a rocket launcher, an energy cell, a box of rockets, and a berserk pack. (sector 829)
