MAP31: Kaikyo is the first secret map of Thirty Years with Doom. It was designed by Slavius and uses the music track "Sign of Evil" by Robert Prince.

Secrets[edit]
- In the destroyed Hangar, head towards the north door and a wall to the north lowers. Head outside and southwest, climbing up and go to where the green armor would be to get a berserk pack. (sector 383)
- In the Nuclear Plant section, go to the starting area, and at the west side, open a wall there to find a green armor, a backpack, an armor bonus, a medikit, and a switch. (sector 1153)
- After using the switch in Secret #2, head to the west steps and head southwest to head outside to a health bonus, armor bonuses, a soul sphere, a chaingun, and boxes of ammo. (sector 1058)
- In the Nuclear Plant maze, head to the west side and open a wall between silver ridges to find a backpack. (sector 1143)
- At the east end of the maze, shoot a wall to the east to find a passage of health and armor bonuses. (sector 1225)
- At the second armor bonus after Secret #5, open the west wall to get more armor bonuses. (sector 1231)
- The switch that opened Secret #3 will also open a similar wall in the destroyed part of the Nuclear Plant. Go there to head outside to medikits and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 182)
- Head north in Secret #7 and go all the way to boxes of rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 79)

- 'Kaikyō' (懐郷) translates from Japanese to "homesick" or "nostalgia", fitting the map's theme of an abandoned and ruined map of Episode 1, and was taken from the soundtrack to Nier Reincarnation.
