MAP31: Marle - The Horrible Bitchgoddess is the thirty-first map of 10 Sectors. It was designed by Kevin Nadolski and uses the music track " ". It has an entry to the super secret map.

Walkthrough[edit]

Essentials[edit]

On this map, do not fall into the water at any time. Not only is there no way out of it, the water is damaging and will kill you. This map has a lot of enemies, most of which will be sniping at you from afar, and some behind invisible walls as well. It is difficult, but possible to get 100% kills in this map.

Maneuver through the rocks at the start and when you reach the water, take the left path to a white rock. Stepping on it makes it rise up. Follow the ledge killing enemies as you head inside. There are several paths of travel in this area; you will want to take the second path on your right. However, take the supplies from the other paths if necessary before taking that one, as it leads to a teleporter to another section and you cannot return. The teleporter actually takes you to an interior section on the other side of the water canyon. Head out of there and continue along the ledge, through another area with rocks dotted around that you have to move around. Keep going until you find the next white rock.

Ride this rock up to the next ledge and continue, killing the monsters you come across. Be careful once you reach the thinner ledge. Past that, keep on going until you can drop down and head into another interior section. Navigate through this area heading westward, then drop down into an area with a circular water pit. Kill the enemies here being careful not to touch the water, and use the lift to reach the next ledge. Keep following the ledges as carefully as possible. You will eventually have to hop a few ledges to reach the other side, so do so. Find the lift and use it, following yet another ledge to a teleporter. This one takes you to the northwestern ledge, follow it all the way to a switch with a soul sphere and a megaarmor. Backtrack to find a switch on a lower ledge, press it to raise a ledge in the water so you can walk across to the cave. Also, if you are heading for the secret exit, be sure to check the backside of the switch for another one. Take the new ledge to a white rock which rises up to the normal exit. If you pressed the backside of the switch before, the arrow of health bonuses will point towards the path that goes to the secret exit.

Secrets[edit]

There are no official secrets in this level.

Bugs[edit]

The white rock platform you ride up in the beginning (sector 2, tagged 17) has a switch on the side which is supposed to lower it again, effectively allowing it to act as a lift. However, this switch does not have a tag, making it unusable unless the game is played with the option "linedefs without tags apply locally" in a source port that supports it. Without this option, returning down to the starting area after having raised the platform will make progression through the level impossible.
