This level consists of a complex of seven distinct trials that the player must complete within a time limit.

3ABOD Toxicov (deprecated)[edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the southern part of the hub and appears as a techbase flooded with nukage slime. The first section of the factory is patrolled by satyrs, while the second is inhabited by former humans. Your objective is to make it to the end of the trial and reach the exit.

Upon entering the segment, pick up the super shotgun and some shells located near the starting area. Turn right and press the switch. Be cautious, satyrs are highly dangerous at close range. Proceed west across the factory and climb a series of crates leading to a northern corridor. After entering the corridor with a moving platform, navigate around the stacked crates and eliminate the shotgun guys along the way. After a steep descent, head east to encounter two chaingunners. Behind the nearby door is a plasma zombie. Press the switch, which lowers a platform and leads you to the teleporter out of the level.

Near the exit, you will find two medikits, radiation suits, a box of shells, and a box of bullets, which can be used to clean up any remaining enemies after the 30-second mark.

Bfg division[edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the southwestern part of the hub and appears as a section of a green marble hell fortress. At the top of the structure sits the BFG9000, which is provided to the player during the trial. The goal of this challenge is straightforward: eliminate all demons to complete the trial.

You start in the central area of the arena on the first floor. Pick up the BFG9000, ammo, a backpack, and green armor nearby. On the first floor (northern section), demons and two afrits begin to spawn. The second floor (southern section) is occupied by dark imps and three cyberdemon jr. enemies. To reach the second floor, use the stepped staircases located on the western and eastern sides of the arena.

Once all monsters are defeated, a gate opens in the northeastern corner of the trial, granting access to the exit.

Above the void[edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the western part of the hub. Several pits leading into the void surround the teleporter, hinting at the nature of the upcoming challenge. The segment consists of a complex of floating rock platforms suspended over a void. Your objective is to carefully navigate the platforms and reach the exit, all while being harassed by imps attempting to knock you off course.

Pick up the super shotgun and some shells, then begin moving along the designated path. The route is mostly linear until you reach a fork. First, press the switch located in the western part of the segment. After that, proceed north until you reach the teleporter that leads to the exit.

Near the exit, you will find two medikits and a box of shells to aid with any remaining resistance.

Final encounter[edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the northwestern part of the hub. It is surrounded by four short Egyptian stelae, with sand and sandstone tiles marking the area. The segment takes place at night in an ancient Egyptian setting, featuring an exclusive enemy type: the beheaded kamikadze from Serious Sam. Compared to its headed counterpart, this variant is faster but has less health.

Your goal is to eliminate all headless kamikazes. They spawn not only on the ground, but also from large structures in the western and eastern parts of the arena. For this reason, staying near the outer edges is not recommended.

At the start, grab the chaingun and ammo provided nearby. Once all kamikazes are defeated, a pillar in the center of the arena will lower, revealing a teleporter that leads to the exit.

Circle of Death[edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the northern part of the hub. It is surrounded by five cylindrical columns, and the decorative patterns on the ground form a circular motif, hinting at the nature of the challenge.

Upon entering, the player is teleported onto a ring-shaped platform suspended over a void. Falling results in instant death. At the center of the platform stands a column where a diabolist spawns. In addition, two revenants and two Hell knights appear around the arena. Pick up the super shotgun, all available ammo, and green armor at the start. Your priority target is the diabolist, as killing it triggers the appearance of a rocket launcher.

Once the remaining enemies are defeated, bridges will rise, allowing you to reach the teleporter to the level exit.

Reclaimed Earth[edit]

The northeastern teleporter leads to an overgrown urban area, representing the segment begins in a version of Earth that has been restored after the Hell invasion was stopped.

You begin the segment surrounded by powerful resources: a BFG9000, ammo, a backpack, and a megasphere. As you move forward, you will face off against three cyberdemons, one in the western, one in the northern, and one in the eastern parts of the area. Teleporters marked with the FIRELAVA texture are interconnected, allowing for quick movement and flanking strategies.

Once all three cyberdemons are defeated, a passage in the southeastern part of the segment will open, leading into a cave-like area where the exit teleporter is located.

Revive me![edit]

The teleporter to this trial is located in the eastern part of the hub and appears as a mass of various dead bodies, suggesting the grisly nature of the challenge ahead.

Upon entering the segment, you find yourself inside a blood factory. Your objective is to eliminate all resurrectors, a white variant of the diabolist. At the start, the arena is filled with the corpses of Hell knights and mech demons. Once you pick up the rocket launcher and ammo, two resurrectors will spawn in the northern section of the area, and one more in the southern part.

After all resurrectors are defeated, a teleporter in the northern section of the arena will open, allowing you to exit the trial.

Exit level[edit]

After completing each trial, you are transported to a small intermediate hub. From here, you can use teleporters to return to any of the trials you have already completed. In the southern part of this hub, there is a labeled area marked Restart Level, where a button will kill the player and reset the entire level, sending you back to the beginning. In the northern section, where a pentagram and several inverted crosses are located, lies the exit teleporter that leads to the final level of the megawad.
