This level occupies the map slot MAP34. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:MAP34.

MAP34: Bad Treatment is the second bonus map of 1000 Line Community Project. It was designed by Philip Brown (Liberation).

By default, this level uses the music track "1000 Line Community Project Theme" by Tristan Clark. Because this is a very short loop, the WAD includes a MAPINFO lump that changes the music track to the intermission theme for ZDoom-family source ports, or the text screen theme for the Eternity Engine.

Take the super shotgun and rocket launcher in front of you then open either door to confront two arachnotrons and a crowd of zombiemen. Open the south-east door to enter a room with some imps then flip the switch on the east wall to open the doors either side of it, revealing four Hell knights directly behind the doors as well as six shotgun guys and another knight behind some barrels. Clear the chamber then step inside it to find the blue keycard inside a niche in the west wall.

Return to the previous room and head north to a large door with a switch next to it, which requires the blue key. Flip the switch to open the door and reveal three revenants guarding another switch, which will lower the lift underneath you and take you down to an outdoor area with some imps. Press the button in the west wall, kill two revenants that teleport in behind you then approach the now-open north door to confront a mancubus and some zombiemen. Go through the door and flip the switch in the south-east corner to lower a lift with some barrels and two revenants on it, then ride the lift up to an area with a plasma gun which is surrounded by zombiemen and imps. Enter either of the water-filled tunnels to the north and south, then follow them to some steps leading up to the red keycard.

After taking the red key, kill the revenants and imps that are revealed behind you as well as an arch-vile that teleports to the ground area then ride the lift back down and head north into a dark passage. Open the door at the end of the passage (requiring the red key) and press the button behind it to finish the level.
