MAP36: Kenosis is the sixth secret map of Eviternity II. It was designed by Ola Björling (ukiro) and uses the music track "I Wish I Was Where I Was When I Wished I Was Here" by Joshua O'Sullivan (Dragonfly). The par time defined in MAPINFO is 30:00.

Bugs[edit]

In GZDoom, some teleporter traps are broken, making it impossible to get 100% kills on the Annihilate Me skill level. This is all caused by silent teleporters in GZDoom not working the same way as in DSDA-Doom; the teleporter linedefs in this level are at an off angle, and in GZDoom the monsters therefore teleport at an off position to get placed stuck in the wall of their compartment, but this is not the case in DSDA-Doom. The following teleporter traps are affected:

  • When the three battles in the southern branches of the cross building are completed, the stair bars are lowered, and nightmare cacodemons are meant to teleport there but five get stuck (tag 532, all five compartments around thing 6466 affected).
  • When the outside east button of the northwest building is pressed, astral cacodemons are released but two get stuck (tag 485, two trap compartments with things 7800, 7206 affected).
  • When the northeast rocket launcher cages are opened, astral cacodemons are released but two, possibly more or less, get stuck (tag 66, compartments with things 893, 891 affected).

A small rocky passage (sector 2667) in the northwest appears intended to have enough space for the player to walk through, but it is too narrow. Attempting to pass through moving southeast near linedef 39085 in DSDA-Doom causes the player to get softlocked.
