MAP36: Vermilion Vestry is the thirty-sixth map of Doomworld Maximum Project 2023. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses the music track "TaraNTulas" by Brendan Bradley (Bucket), from TNT: Revilution.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the southeast end, find a blue skull switch on the northeast end and use it, then enter the south area to get armor bonuses, rockets, and an energy cell pack. (sector 348)
2. In the northeast lava pit, go to the teleporter and head northeast through the lavafall. Take this teleporter to get a backpack. (sector 376)
3. Head up the steps to the exit bars, then drop a floor and face southeast. Shoot the switch before it closes and head east to get a BFG9000, an energy cell pack, and medikits. (sector 383)
