MAP37: Deep Darkness of Hell is the bonus map of After Doom. It was designed by 00_Zombie_00 and salahmander2, and uses the music track "". The par time defined in MAPINFO is 36:40. It is accessed directly from the episodes menu, as it is skipped in the order of map progression.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
You start facing the dead Icon of Sin from the previous level. Turn round and follow the tunnel behind you to a parking lot, take the shotgun and use it to kill the monsters around you, then go through the door at the top of the steps to enter the lobby. Open the northern door to face some zombiemen, take the rocket launcher behind them then go west and north to another door with two chaingunners in front of it. Go through the door to enter a red-tinted room, fight your way to the hole in the north-west corner and step through it to find some demons guarding a split door. Go down the stairs behind the door and kill the enemies that appear at the bottom, cross the bridge and go through the door on the other side to enter the portal chamber (the game will autosave at this point).
Take the supercharge in the middle of the chamber if you need it, then go up two sets of steps on the east side and head north to find a plasma gun. Flip the switch on the north wall to open the portal, then go back there to deal with a large group of imps, Hell knights, revenants and a cyberdemon that will emerge from it; also note the monsters teleporting from the south side of the chamber as they can take you by surprise. Once the portal is clear, enter it to teleport to a black void then follow the path north – passing a few ambushes on the way – to a wide tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a megasphere and enter the portal inside to enter a large arena with various large monsters, including three cyberdemons.
Once all the cyberdemons are dead, the north wall of the arena will lower to reveal Thamuz, a dark cyberdemon that utilizes rapid-firing green projectiles and highly damaging homing bombs; when injured, Thamuz will also become momentarily invulnerable and launch floor-hugging projectiles in all directions. Note that Thamuz will infight with the other enemies in the arena which will allow you to get some free hits in. Once Thamuz is dead, enter the large portal at the top of the steps then walk straight forward to end the level.

- In the red-tinted section south of the lab entrance, take the lift to the higher ground. Head west of the lift, then open a wall to the north to get a backpack, a megaarmor, a berserk pack, and energy cell packs. (sector 1295)
- In the main building, go to an orange-tinted room that has a berserk pack at the north end. Look at the computers to the south and use the second one from the west side to open the east door. This secret room has a megasphere. (sector 7503)
- Inside the main building, head to the intersection above nukage and head to the east area with nukage vats. Climb the steps and jump into the second vat from the west side to find a megasphere. (thing 911)
- In the portal area, go to the north-east halls and climb the crates. Find a small switch to the south and flip it, then run west to the opening to get a megasphere. Shoot a small red light to the east, above the candle, to access an ultra secret area. (sector 8189) To escape, you will need to battle a maledict followed by a hellstorm archon, and optionally an inferno demon as well.

- At the circular platform above the nukage on the west side of the map, drop into the western nukage pool and get the radiation shielding suit here, then enter the tunnel and follow the nukage south to a computer area map.
