MAP42: Serious Abstraction is the forty-second map of Rabbit's All-comers Mapping Project. It was designed by QuotePilgrim and uses the music track "Intermission from DOOM," originally composed by Robert Prince for Doom.

Secrets[edit]
- In the room with the blue floor and eight columns, head to the east end and use the column with a white light to find a rocket launcher. (sector 68)
- At the northwest maze area, go to the southwest and use the lift to get a backpack. (sector 174)
- At the northwest maze area, go to the northeast end and open the east wall to get a megaarmor. (sector 199)
- Leave the area underneath the yellow key area to the north. Take the lift up to the previous room and get the berserk pack to the west. (sector 228)
- In the room with the blue floor and eight columns, open the north wall. Follow the path all the way to a megasphere. (sector 237)
