MAP49: Plunder Island Fort is the ninth map of Pirate Doom. It was designed by Arch and uses the music track "Gruntilda's Lair" by Grant Kirkhope, from Banjo-Kazooie. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 3:40.

Secrets[edit]
- Head to the southeast side, then take the steps north. As you do, go on the east railing and hug it until you get on a field. Head north to get a megaarmor. (sector 142)
- At the northernmost tower, head to the right of it and use the east wall to head to the outer ledge, where you can get spinach and partial invisibility. You can also go under the bridge to the west and use the wall there to get this secret. (sector 503 via linedefs 2740 or 5314 or "Actor Enters Sector" thing 251, script 9, and "secret trigger" thing 252)
- In the room at the south end of the main fort with the staircases, open the treasure chest to get a torch. (linedef 5590 via script 16 and "secret trigger" thing 490)
