MAP52: Dead Men Tell no Tales is the twelfth map of Pirate Doom. It was designed by Arch and uses the music track "Stage 1" by Tamayo Kawamoto, from Ghouls 'n Ghosts. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 5:00.

Secrets[edit]

  1. East of the starting point, open the north wall to find a torch. (sector 26)
  2. Head west and south from the start, then enter the east alcove and use the face. This opens the north wall where you can get lots of cannonballs and a cannon. (sector 37)
  3. In the first graveyard, open the treasure box near the east side to get a green armor. (linedef 3018 via script 9 and "secret trigger" thing 55)
  4. Open the treasure box near the gallows to get a blur artifact. (thing 504 via script 18 and "secret trigger" thing 503)
  5. When you enter the swamp, go northwest to find a torch. (thing 114 via "secret trigger" thing 115)
  6. Open the treasure box near the yellow key house to get a megaarmor. (thing 569 via script 23 and "secret trigger" thing 568)
  7. At the southeast end of the hedge maze, head west to the cannonballs and use the wall to lower rum. (sector 1407)
  8. Jump northwest from the blue key platform into the ditch to find armor bonuses and a dynamite launcher. (sector 1287)
  9. Near the southwest part of the hedge maze is a treasure chest. Open it to find an imp. (thing 596 via script 29 and "secret trigger" thing 595)
  10. At the southwest part of the hedge maze, head east to the shotgun shells and use the wall to lower it. Behind it, you can find a gatling gun and bullets. (sector 1317)
