MAP88: A Baleful Heart is the eighty-eighth map of Rabbit's All-comers Mapping Project. It was designed by Death Bear and uses the music track "Everything Explodes," originally composed by James Paddock (Jimmy) for Eviternity.

Walkthrough

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. At the northeast end, find two health bonuses and use the wall south of them to find an armor bonus on a lift. Head up to get a soul sphere. (sector 624)
2. In the red key area, shoot the eye that appears to the south, which opens a path southwest with health bonuses. (sector 1061)
3. Take the lift up in Secret #2, then get the BFG9000. Return to Secret #2 and head west to get health bonuses and an energy cell pack. (sector 869)
