Matt Cibulas (RottKing)

Matt Cibulas, better known by his alias RottKing, is a level designer and artist. He has designed levels for many popular singleplayer and multiplayer mapsets.

He is perhaps best known as the co-author of Double Impact, which won one of the 18th Annual Cacowards and in 2020 was added as an official add-on for the Doom Classic Unity port. He is also a member of the Back to Saturn X team and has made contributions to notable projects such as Community Chest 3 and the Doom The Way Id Did series.

He is a prolific multiplayer level designer. He is a frequent contributor to the 32in24 series and has designed levels for other notable multiplayer projects including Dynamite Deathmatch, UDMX, Greenwar II and among many others. As a player, he was part of the championship team in the IDL Winter 2011 season.

His other work includes co-authoring the Medieval Texture Resource with Sarah Mancuso (esselfortium), which was used in many WADs during the late 2000s and early 2010s. He also created the Cacoward-winning Heretic episode Elf Gets Pissed.
