NewDoom Community Project II (aka NDCP2) is a 2009 megawad that contains 32 new levels, made by members of the NewDoom community. It is a sequel to Newdoom Community Project, which was released in 2006.

Issues[edit]
Upon release the WAD contained several glaring bugs and oversights, most infamously a flaw in MAP02 that prevented players from clearing the level, as well as running poorly on most source ports other than ZDoom. Nonetheless it enjoyed positive reception and was one of the winners of Doomworld's Cacowards in 2009. No official fixes were released from the team members before NewDoom shut down in June of the same year, but efforts among fans to patch the WAD were common on the Doomworld forums.
Monsters[edit]
NDCP2 uses a DeHackEd patch to add two new monsters: the Slomnibus and the Possessed CloneMarine.
Slomnibus[edit]
The Slomnibus is a fast-moving cousin of the cacodemon that explodes upon close-range with the player. It replaces the Wolfenstein SS.
Possessed CloneMarine[edit]
The Possessed CloneMarine replaces Commander Keen and acts like a stationary gun turret, crouching and firing from cover.
