Nanka Kurashiki (倉敷楠花)

Nanka Kurashiki (name rendered in kanji as 倉敷楠花) is a Japanese artist and level designer known for her drawings of subjects from the classic game series. Though she admits to being "no good" at English, she has interacted with the English-speaking Doom community from time to time, sometimes to be found in the #doomtwid IRC channel and contributing to the Push project for Zandronum. Her art tends to channel elements of manga and chibi styles while succinctly illustrating various tropes of the Doom series. Her works are notable for bringing some community memes, such as use of the phrase "AAAAAA" for referring to the sound made by the revenant when it spots a player, into prominence.
As for level design, she is best known for her contributions to various community projects, most notably Japanese Community Project and NOVA III.
