Not Even Remotely Fair is a mapset made by a team led by Peter Lawrence (MegaSphere) designed entirely around the Nightmare! difficulty. Most levels employ tricks that make them impossible to play on lower skill settings. The first episode of 11 maps was released in March 2022 (with an additional credits map and a bonus level),[1] and the second episode of 11 maps was released in October 2022.[2] The last episode of 10 maps was released in December 2023.[3]
Peter Lawrence also composed most of the original soundtrack, which is made in the style of hip hop, R'n'B and electronic dance music.
Not Even Remotely Fair received an honorable mention at the 2024 Cacowards.

Custom monsters[edit]
- Tyrant
- Modified cyberdemons with green insides who replace the spider masterminds. They only have 1000 hit points, the same as a baron of Hell. Killing every tyrant in the level open doors tagged 666, same behaviour as the Commander Keen.
- Silvergunner
- Grey-coloured chaingunners who drop ammo clips instead of chainguns. They replace the Wolfenstein SS.
- Boss brain
- Replaces tall techno column and has 250 hit points.
