Number One Kill The Next Generation is a 22-level megawad for Doom II that was created by Angelo Jefferson and released in November 1997. It is a sequel to Number One Kill, a Doom 1 Episode replacement. This WAD is noteworthy for its difficult levels relative to its early release, leading to comparisons with The Plutonia Experiment and Hell Revealed.

WAD problems[edit]

All music lumps are included in the PWAD twice, with D_DOOM and D_STLKS2 occurring three times, and D_DEAD2 and D_IN_CIT four times, but the repeated entries are often not identical.

MAP13: City of Hell cannot be played in classic style ports (Crispy Doom, Chocolate Doom, DSDA-Doom, Woof, etc): on reaching or warping to this map, the following error message is displayed, then the program exits: P_LoadSegs: linedef 2223 for seg 3761 references a non-existent sidedef 65535. A patch for this map is available.[1]
