Onslaught Deathmatch refers to a series of three multiplayer mapsets, created by Nick Laurent (hobomaster22), Emmanuel Rousseau (G0dCells) and, for the third entry, Ak-01. It is focused on fast-paced and generally small levels geared towards one-on-one deathmatch, or 2-4 players FFA for some of the maps. It also contains numerous custom textures that have since been used in other projects. Onslaught Deathmatch saw its first pack released on April 28, 2004, containing 12 maps. This was followed by Onslaught Deathmatch 2, containing 20 maps, released on February 24, 2005. The third and final entry, Onslaught Deathmatch 3, with 21 maps, was released on January 17, 2007. Later that year, all three mapsets would be combined together into a single package for ZDoom-based source ports, called onslpack.wad.
