Rabid is a single-level PWAD for Doom that was released in 1994. It was designed by Nick Foster.
This map appears on Maximum Doom as WADFTHR.WAD, a compilation of deathmatch levels, despite the fact that the level's main mode is single-player.

Walkthrough[edit]
Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.
Essentials[edit]
Other points of interest[edit]
Secrets[edit]
- From the start, go through three doors to reach a room with a switch. To the west of this switch is a secret door leading to an area with 4 shotgun shells (8 on hard skill), a shotgun, a box of rockets, a medikit (hard skill only), three shotgun guys (hard skill only), two demons, and a spectre (three on hard skill). (sector 106)
- The secret area accessed by #1 also has three other entry doors, all of which count as separate secrets. One of these is just east of #1. (sector 107)
- Another entry door (see #2) is to the west, and can be reached by heading up the short staircase from the nukage room in the south-west. (sector 105)
- Another entry door (see #2) is to the south, and can be reached by heading east from the blue key. (sector 128)
- The north-western room with the crates has a secret door in the north-west (marked with a misaligned texture) leading to two armor bonuses, a medikit, and a partial invisibility. (sector 57)
- The dark passage that leads to the trigger that lowers the nukage north of the blue key counts as a secret and is impossible to miss. (sector 81)
- After lowering the nukage north of the blue key, there is a secret door to the west (marked by two dead players) leading to a chaingun and a box of bullets. (sector 87)
Bugs[edit]
On hard skill, a spectre and an imp are stuck together inside the central monster closet and thus never teleport in, making 100% kills unachievable.
