Usage[edit]
Command: RanDOOM [refwadfile] [-c<seed>] [-m<n>] [-w<filename>] [-g] [-le<j>m<k>] [-i<infile>] [-o<outfile>]
Parameters:
- refwadfile - the path to the DOOM.WAD. If left empty, will use the current directory;
- -c<seed> - the seed value for the pseudorandom number generator (single case-sensitive ASCII character or positive integer number). If nothing is specified the seed number is taken based on the system time;
- -m<n> - the randomization mode n (0, 1, or 2);
- -w<filename> - use item weight factors from the specified file (for randomization modes 1 and 2);
- -g - produce a graphic display of a randomization process;
- -le<j>m<k> - the name of the level lump to process (j is the number of the episode and k is the number of the level in the episode). This parameter can be used multiple times. If no level is specified, then all levels in the file will be processed;
- -i<infile> - the name of the file where RanDOOM will look for its input THINGS data. If none is specified, then the refwadfile will be used;
- -o<outfile> - the name of the output file. If none is specified, then the file will be called RANDOOM.WAD.
