The Raven MIDI Pack II is a music pack for Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, developed as a community project under the leadership of James Paddock (Jimmy). It provides a completely original soundtrack for the entire expansion instead of the duplicated tracks from the base game. In addition, four extra bonus tracks that were not matched to any map slot are also included. The development started on August 28, 2020,[1] and continued for more than five years. RC1 was finally released on January 13, 2026.[2] The final version was released on May 7, 2026.[3]
Raven MIDI Pack II is a follow-up to the first Raven MIDI Pack that was made for Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders. The aim was once again to imitate Kevin Schilder's music style for Hexen, so that the pack would fit seamlessly and plausibly sound as if it was an original part of the game.
