Realm of Devastated Eternity (abbreviated to RoDE) is a six-level PWAD for Doom II designed for limit removing source ports, created by Team Eternity, a modding group that consisted of Qingshuo Wang (piXel reX), Josh Zylstra and James Bradford (Lurker) (this group is not related in any way to another Team Eternity).
RoDE was originally planned to be made into a full 32-level megawad using only stock textures, music, weapons and monsters, but these plans were never realised. Work on the project started on June 8, 1998. An unfinished version (dubbed "prerelease") containing only six levels was uploaded to the idgames archive on October 9 of the same year. Maps 1 through 5 were made by piXel reX, while the authorship of untitled MAP07 is unknown. A seventh level, MAP12, is included in the WAD, but consists only of the empty square with player 1 start. It appears that the project was abandoned after this release.
