- The original 2004 release of Carnage Galore III: Fury of Vuradi relied on a custom engine based on the Doomsday source port, version 0.99.6 whilst utilizing the JHexen plugin, version 0.99.4. Engine modifications were contained in a separate file, called FURY.DLL. The current iteration of Carnage Galore III uses the GZDoom engine.
