STR34: Three Ways to Die is the thirty-fourth map of Stronghold: On the Edge of Chaos. It was designed by Daniel Gimmer (Tormentor667) and uses the music track "Oceanos" by Chris Huelsbeck, from Tunnel B1.
This level uses the "Core" mode, where the objective is to prevent monsters destroying a computer core.

Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
In this level you need to avoid going outside whenever possible as your health will gradually drain away. There are three buildings in this level - all players start in building one (the south building) which contains a set of item pads, building two (the middle building) contains another set of item pads, and building three (the west building) contains the core. Use the numbered teleporters in each building to move between them safely.
Monsters will initially spawn from a cavern in the south-east corner and head west through building one, then follow a looping path until they return to building one and head north to building two; after passing through building two the monsters will follow another loop until they head west through building two to the core (there are floor arrows in buildings one and two to assist you). From wave six monsters will also start spawning from a raised area in the middle of the level, proceeding straight to building two.
No extra weapons or ammo are provided at the start of this level; consider using a random weapon powerup to give yourself something stronger than the pistol. If you cannot kill monsters on their first pass through each building, wait for them to loop round and kill them on their second pass. Be careful when teleporting between the buildings in later waves, as you risk teleporting straight into a room full of aggressive monsters.

Head due north from building two until you reach a small structure - there is a green access disk sitting here next to a marine corpse. The disk can be used in the main hub to unlock STR56: Phobos Anomaly.
