Scientist 2023 is a Doom II partial conversion megawad by Roland van der Velden, first released on August 10, 2023, as a new official add-on for the Doom Classic Unity port, before seeing a standalone release as a PWAD 15 days later. On August 8, 2024, it became a featured mod for Doom + Doom II.

Scientist 2023 is a remake of 2002's Scientist and 2005's Scientist 2, two WADs by the previous author featuring similar levels and themes. The 2023 remake features revamped levels, some remade from scratch, and also new graphics, weapons and enemies, with a remarkably different aesthetic from the previous works.
