Shamus Young

Shamus Young was a Doom level designer and music composer, known primarily for his 1996 episode replacement Phobos: Relive the Nightmare and for his 1995 map Doom City, which was among the first maps to try and create a realistic urban environment within the Doom engine, and which was added to Doomworld's Top 100 Most Memorable Maps list.
Young passed away on June 15, 2022, from cardiac arrest.[1]
