Julia Nechaevsky (Russian: Юлиан Нечаевский) is an independent Doomer from Moscow, Russia. Her hobbies are graphics design, ambient music making and learning Doom in all its aspects.
She is also a contributor of the Chocolate Doom, Crispy Doom and Doom Retro source ports.
Projects
Most significant Doom related projects:
- International Doom source port (Ongoing, originally started in 2000 and recreated in 2016, previously known as Russian Doom)
Forked from Chocolate Doom with additions from Crispy Doom, it aims to provide a full and proper Russian translation of Doom, Heretic and Hexen games, as well as the setup executable and online help. Additionally, it has numerous vanilla bug fixes, removed limits and offers some optional aesthetic game enhancements.
- ZFootBall (2004)
This mod was the first "more or less" total conversion of soccer thematic for ZDoom. It also was one of the first international projects in Russian community, since both development and testing assistance comes from different countries around the World.
Legendary animation project ported to EDGE source port. Thread on official EDGE forum.
- Dimmed Palettes (2017)
Dimmed Palettes contain slightly corrected, darkened and not over-contrasted palettes for Doom, Heretic, Hexen and Strife. Project's aim is to completely preserve original colors, making overall picture looking better on modern bright LCD screens.
