I was going to edit this article, but my prose skills failed me. Describing texture alignment is tricksy. Maybe someone else can put this clearly: Lower unpegged on a 2sided linedef is not described correctly. The lower texture has its "virtual" top pegged to the facing ceiling, not its bottom pegged to the facing floor. The reason for this is so the textures above and below a window will match in ycoord an adjoining 1s texture facing the same sector. So facing floor height has no effect on the location of a lower unpegged lower texture, where as moving the facing ceiling will change the location of the texture.
