'''Parias''', the ''Cleric'', is one of three playable character classes in [[Hexen]]. While not as strong or fast as [[Baratus]], he is nevertheless stronger than [[Daedolon]] and can wear a good deal of armor. He does rely heavily on mana for his stronger weapons, though not to the extent Daedolon does. He possesses a good mix of magical and melee attacks.

When he uses a [[fléchette]], it will float in the air, then explode into a cloud of gas, which harms anything (even the Heresiarch with its barrier on) in range. The [[Mystic Ambit Incant|mystic ambit incant]] allows him to restore health to himself and his nearby allies. Under the influence of the [[Icon of the Defender|icon of the defender]], in addition to being invulnerable, he also blinks in and out of sight, becoming invisible repeatedly for short amount of time; projectiles that would otherwise hit him when he is completely invisible go through him instead. His armor class benefits the most from the [[Falcon Shield|falcon shield]] and the least from the [[Platinum Helm|platinum helm]].
