Sunless Empire is an 11-level episode replacement for Doom II designed for MBF21-compatible source ports, created by the Waffle House Team, a group of mappers led by Alex Decker (myolden). The first version was released on July 16, 2025. The final version was uploaded to the idgames archive on October 19, 2025.
Sunless Empire was a runner-up at the 2025 Cacowards, with its soundtrack distinguished as an Odyssey of Noises.
