TAT08: Ground Zero is the eighth map of Dark Tartarus. It was designed by lihanchi and uses the music track "(=Alice Cooper=)" by Slash/AtD.

Secrets[edit]
- At the megaarmor, head northwest, then lower the wall with the electricity symbol on this balcony to find a light amplification visor. (sector 1051)
- Picking up the first megasphere opens up doors around you. Head to the balcony west of it, face west, and shoot the gargoyle switch in the distance to lower the north wall. Flipping the switch reveals a BFG9000, energy cells, (both on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), a mancubus (not on Hurt Me Plenty), barons of Hell (not on Hey, Not Too Rough or lower), a cyberdemon, energy cell packs, and/or boxes of rockets (last three are only on Ultra-Violence or higher). - Picking up the first megasphere opens up doors around you. Head east and open the wall with the electricity symbol to find a corridor with four armor bonuses. (sector 185)
- In the large outside area at the south end, go to the northeast door, then climb the steps to the switch. Use it, go to the south wall, and use the one without caution stripes to find a megasphere. (sector 1142)
- The same switch mentioned above reveals another switch in the right alcove, which lowers a lift in the left alcove. Take it up, then through the corridor and onto a wall above the conveyor. Take another corridor to get to three backpacks. (sector 1151)
- Go on the conveyor north of the previous secret and hug the east wall as you do. The wall will open and there will be either a backpack or an energy cell pack in the middle depending on your skill level. (sector 1043)
