TAT11: Hex is the eleventh map of Dark Tartarus. It was designed by lihanchi and uses the music track "Vantage Point" by Alexander Brandon, created for, but not used in, Unreal.

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.


Other points of interest[edit]


  1. At the red key, lower the slightly recessed wall at the east side to find a chaingun and boxes of ammo. (sector 223)
  2. At the northernmost area on the map, as the floors lower, get to the northeast door with blood on it and open it to get a megasphere. This will also reveal backpacks, energy cell packs, and an invulnerability further east. (sector 1797)
  3. Open the yellow door east of the main area, then use the skull switch in the next room to lower the bars. Use the corner wall on the steps with blood writing to get a rocket launcher and rockets. (sector 216)
  4. In Secret #3, shoot a recessed brick to reveal a teleporter back to the center. (sector 220)
  5. In the central area, flip the large skull switch past the red and yellow bars, then quickly run all the way southeast to a square with an energy cell pack. (sector 45)
  6. In the central area, flip the large skull switch past the red and yellow bars, then quickly run all the way southwest to a square with an energy cell pack. (sector 50)
